Lance Ringhausen, MBA, LAT, ATC

Associate Director of Sports Medicine

Bio

Lance Ringhausen joined the Miner sports medicine staff in the fall of 2020.  From 1996-2020 he was the Head Athletic Trainer at McKendree University and served primarily with the football program, as well as supervising athletic training students in the Accredited Athletic Training Program (ATEP).

Over the years, Ringhausen has provided coverage for numerous other collegiate sports to include basketball, baseball, soccer and hockey.  He has traveled internationally with USYS Olympic Development Program (ODP) and was responsible for the athletic training coverage for USYS ODP regional summer camps. 

Ringhausen, who lives in Rolla with his wife, Melissa, and daughter, Lindy, graduated from Cedarville University in 1994 and a master’s degree from McKendree University in 2004.  He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and licensed by the Missouri Board of Healing Arts

Samantha Kaestner, MSAT, LAT, ATC

Athletic Trainer

Bio

Sam Kaestner joined the sports medicine staff in 2018 and is originally from Wildwood, Missouri.  She works primarily with Men’s Soccer and Women’s Basketball.  She received her bachelors from Bradley University in Peoria IL in Health Science and her Masters in Athletic Training degree at Weber State University in Ogden UT.

After graduating from Weber State University, she had the opportunity to work with the Utah Royals FC team. Sam likes to travel, hike, kayak and hang out with my family in her free time.

 

Nick Driscoll, LAT, ATC

Athletic Trainer

Bio

Nick is entering his fourth year with Missouri S&T. He originally joined the sports medicine staff in 2019 as an intern athletic trainer before transitioning into a full time roll in April of 2021. He primarily works with football, men’s golf, and women’s softball teams.

 Nick, originally from West Chicago Illinois, received his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University in May 2019, and is currently working towards his master’s in healthcare administration. While at Northern Illinois he had a yearlong rotation working with their NCAA division I football team. Nick currently resides in Rolla and enjoys playing golf and other outdoor activities as well as watching sports.

Jenalee Edwards, MS, LAT, ATC

Athletic Trainer

Bio

Jenalee joined the sports medicine staff in July 2021 and works primarily with the Miner women’s volleyball and baseball teams. She is originally from Springfield, Missouri, and attended Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2015. Jenalee worked towards a Master of Science degree in Human Performance from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri from 2015-2017 while serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the Lindenwood- Belleville campus.

 She spent fall 2017 through spring 2021 as an athletic trainer and exercise science instructor at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri. Jenalee has also spent time working on as-needed basis for St. Louis-area high school and club sports through Athletico Physical Therapy and had the opportunity to provide coverage in part at the 2016 Men’s USA Gymnastics Olympic Trials. 

 Jenalee and her husband, David, share a son, Kayson, and two Siberian huskies, Thor and Drax.  

Jordan Weldon, MAT, LAT, ATC

Athletic Trainer

Bio

Jordan Weldon joined the sports medicine staff in 2022 and works primarily with the Miner women’s soccer and men’s volleyball teams. She is originally from Earth, Texas. Jordan earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science degree at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas in 2019. In 2021, Jordan went on to get her Master of Athletic Training degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center while doing clinical rotations at Texas Tech University and South Plains College.

 After graduation, Jordan worked at Missouri Baptist University as an assistant athletic trainer and worked with the men’s basketball, softball, dance, and stunt teams. In her free time, Jordan likes to be around friends and family, watch Netflix, and play with her Bernedoodle, Nala.

Madelynn Kallembach, MSAT, LAT, ATC

Athletic Trainer

Bio

Madelynn Kallembach joined the sports medicine staff in 2023 and works primarily with the track and field / cross country teams and the Miner football team.

After earning her Associate Degree in Science at Parkland College in 2018, Kallembach graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2020. Kallembach then earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Eastern Kentucky University in 2022.

After graduating from Eastern Kentucky, she spent a year on the Athletic Training Staff at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. In her free time, Madelynn enjoys reading, watching soccer, and spending time outside.
