The primary goal of insurance services is to educate students about how health insurance works in the United States.  We also assist students with finding health care providers, understanding benefits, and assisting with questions about claims. The insurance services track all J visa scholars and dependents and their insurance coverage for immigration purposes and ensure that visa status is maintained.

We recommend all S&T students have health insurance coverage.  It is required for students with a F-1 or J-1 visa. ‌‌

Please note the Student Health Fee covers only select services at Student Health and is not insurance.

Anthem Student Health offers health insurance options for Missouri S&T students. The Student Health Insurance plan provides the following:
