Required :

MMR- Measles,mumps and rubella  

            All entering students born after January 1, 1957, must have on file at Student Health proof of 2-doses of measles (Rubeola) or MMR. The first dose must have been given after your 1st birthday and the second dose after 1980.  Some exemptions may apply, such as:  DOB prior to 1957, documented proof of Rubeola illness, pregnancy, or immunosuppressed disease. MMR immunizations are available at Student Health.

Meningitis

            All students living in university approved housing (including Fraternities and Sororities) must have on file at Student Health documentation of a meningitis immunization or a signed waiver stating that the institution has provided the student, parent or guardian with detailed written information on the risks associated with the meningococcal disease and the availability and effectiveness of the meningococcal vaccine.  Student Health has a limited supply of the meningococcal vaccine, Menactra, at a cost of $100.00.  This may be paid by cash, check or as a charge to your Joe'SS account.

 

Recommended:

   Influenza-            annually
    HPV- (females)        3 doses
    Tetanus/Diptheria-every 10 years; 1 in a lifetime Tdap.
    Hepatitis A-          2 doses
    Hepatitis B-          3 doses
