Are you interested in the health care field?

Student Health accepts a limited number of students each semester into our mentoring program.

Participation in this program will help students identify career interests and gain an awareness of the academic, technical, and personal skills required by a variety of healthcare professions. Students will job shadow and be mentored by health professionals as well as gain experiences needed to be successful, marketable, and competitive in a future health related career.

This is a self-directed learning experience.  Students are expected to create their own goals and work towards achieving them.  Students will be evaluated at the end of the semester to determine if their desired goals have been met successfully.

Student mentors are expected to be present in clinic for 2-4 hours per week, for 6-8 weeks.

Preference will be given to upperclassmen, but all S&T students are welcome to apply for this opportunity.  Students who have completed the mentorship program are invited to continue their experience, but must reapply each semester.
